The United States Of America - 1674 Words
The United States of America is the world largest single economy with a lot of trade activities with other nations. The country has traded with other nations for centuries hence it is an important economic partner (Jensen, Quinn Weymouth, 2015). The country normally has a lot of influence in the world trade since it serves almost all the nations worldwide. In fact, most of the trade policies that affect the whole world have been proposed by the United States of America. Moreover, the country is a superpower hence will also have political influence on the other countries in the world. According to Baier, Bergstrand and Feng (2014), the people in those countries will, therefore, have to adhere to the policies that have been proposed andâ⬠¦show more contentâ⬠¦This means that the country relies on trade for its economic growth since it contributes more than 50% of the gross domestic product (Buckley Casson, 2016). The people in the United States, therefore, have to carry out th e trade either internally or internationally. Therefore, the economy of United States of America is determined and driven by the trading activities. In fact, since the year 2011, the United States has been outpacing all the other trades done by other advanced economies such as the United Kingdom China, Japan, the Middle East among other nations (Handley Limao, 2015). Furthermore, on average, the United States trade has surpassed the world economy in exports, and this is due to the large sized economy of the world. The country trades with most of the nations and trading bloc in the world. Among the trading, nations include the United Kingdom, the Middle East, Japan, China, Canada, and Australia among others. This country will either export or import the goods and services to and fro in the United States. It is, therefore, important that the country produces goods that the other nations require so that they can export and earn foreign currency.
